Some marketplace listings run timed auctions instead of fixed Buy Now pricing.
How to bid on mobile:
- Open a listing in auction mode from The Vault.
- Enter your max bid or use the bid controls shown on the listing.
- Confirm your Vault Wallet is ready — you need payment on file if you win.
- If you are outbid, you can raise your max bid before the auction ends.
- If you win, complete checkout or follow the prompt to pay — unpaid wins may expire.
How to bid on web:
- Open the listing page and sign in.
- Use the Place Bid modal — confirm shipping address and payment method.
- Submit your max bid. The system bids up to your max on your behalf.
- Watch the auction timer. Winners are charged or prompted to pay per listing rules.
Good practices:
- Bid only what you are willing to pay including shipping and tax.
- Check the seller's rating and item authentication badges before bidding.
- Review shipping terms — some items use flat rate, others use live carrier quotes.
